brnz4n to stay with MIBR at IEM Katowice 2022

MIBR have unveiled the lineup for IEM Katowice 2022. According to the press release, the team will continue to use the 18-year-old academy player Breno "brnz4n" Poletto as a stand-in to replace Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes.

brnz4n temporarily joined the MIBR roster before the start of BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022, as chelo got tested positive for coronavirus and had to miss the event due to the illness.

Even though Cespedes made a full recovery and was ready to take part in IEM Katowice 2022, the club decided to keep Poletto in the starting five. The reason for such decision was the unwillingness of the team to change the training process in the run-up to an important championship.

The Brazilian team will start at IEM Katowice 2022 from the Play-In stage, which kicks off on February 15. Based on its results, only eight out of sixteen teams will advance to the main stage of the tournament.

MIBR lineup for IEM Katowice 2022:

 Raphael "exit" Lacerda
 Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato
 Matheus "Tuurtle" Anhaia
 Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian
 Breno "brnz4n" Poletto (stand-in)
