Pimp: "For my money NiKo has been the best player in the world over the last 6 months"
Analyst Jakob "Pimp" Winneche believes that over the last six months Nikola "NiKo" Kovač has been the best player in the world. On his Twitter account, he emphasized that the actions of the Bosnian with rifles make him stand out from his other rivals Alexandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut.

You can easily argue s1mple, and to some extend ZywOo as well, but the sheer impact NiKo has with a god damn rifle is outstanding and unseen at this level.

Winneche posted the tweet after the final match of G2 at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022, where the team successfully qualified for BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, while Kovač showed the best rating among all participants (1.40 over 8 maps played).
Earlier, NiKo took the third place on the HLTV's top 20 players of 2021 ranking. The Bosnian was bested by ZywOo and s1mple mentioned above.
