MIBR to play at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022 with stand-in 

Marcelo "⁠chelo⁠" Cespedes from MIBR will not be able to take part in BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022 due to being tested positive for coronavirus. Breno "brnz4n" Poletto will replace the missing squad member as a stand-in, the club announced on their social media. 

18-year-old brnz4n is a player of MIBR Academy. Last year, he already had the experience of playing for the main team at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021, where the young Brazilian stood in for Ricardo "⁠boltz⁠" Prass who was sick with coronavirus. 

The upcoming tournament from BLAST, which will be held from January 28 to February 6, MIBR will start in Group B. On January 29, in their opening match, the team will face NAVI.
