Report: Aleksib moves to G2; nexa to join OG

Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, an in-game leader of G2, will soon join G2, according to a joint report by insider Guillaume "neL" Ratier and Dexerto. The Finnish will replace Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, who will, in turn, bacome an in-game leader of OG.

The source did not disclose any details of the agreement between the two clubs. There is no information about whether the deal implies a direct exchange or there is a certain transfer fee to be paid for each of the players.

Virolainen has played for OG since the end of 2019, when the European organization created its CS:GO roster. During this time, the team's highest achievements were second places at IEM New York 2020 Europe, Flashpoint 2 and IEM Summer 2021.

Isaković spent the last two years with G2, during which the team failed to win a single trophy. At the same time, under the leadership of the Serb, G2 reached the grand finals of tier-1 championships five times, including PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

At the moment, OG and G2 have not yet finalized their lineups for 2022. In particular, OG and Evil Geniuses are still negotiating the transfer of Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså.
