$21 million of prize money awarded on the professional CS:GO scene in 2021

In 2021, the total prize fund of all the events held in CS:GO added up to $21,154,403, according to Liquidpedia.

NAVI tops the list, having won $4.2 million of prize money. The top-3 was completed by Gambit and G2, whose winnings amounted to $1.6 million and $748,000, respectively.

The overwhelming majority of the money was contested at online tournaments – $13,659,527. At LAN events, teams received a total of $6,369,610, and another $1,125,266 came from the mixed format championships, which were held both online and offline.

It comes as no surprise that the tournament with the biggest prize pool was PGL Major Stockholm 2021 – $2 million. The prize money of such events as BLAST Premier Global Final 2020, IEM Katowice 2021, IEM Cologne 2021 and BLAST Premier World Final 2021 reached the $1 million mark.
