Official: shox leaves Vitality

French player Richard "shox" Papillon is officially no longer a member of Vitality, the organization announced on Twitter.

According to insider information released at the end of November, shox will continue his career in Liquid. The 29-year-old esports athlete is expected to join the renewed Liquid roster based in North America.

Papillon has played for Vitality since September 2019. Together with him, the team became the champion of EPICENTER 2019, IEM Beijing 2020, BLAST Premier Fall Final 2020 and IEM Winter 2021, and had deep runs at other big tournaments, including the last Major, where Vitality made it to top-8.

At the moment, there is no official information about the newcomers to Vitality, but it was previously revealed that the organization's management is intended to sign a trio of former Astralis members: the duo of players Emil "Magisk" Reif and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, as well as coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen. These rumors are indirectly confirmed by the departure of Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam.
