NAF extends contract with Liquid until 2024

Liquid have announced the extension of Keith "NAF" Markovic’s contract. The Canadian esports athlete signed a new agreement, which is to be expired in 2024.

The announcement denied the previously published rumors in the media about the player leaving the club at the end of this year. Journalists reported that the only member of the current Liquid roster to stay in 2022 is Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski.

Markovic has been representing the North American organization since early 2018. During this period, the team became the champion of many big tournaments, and in 2019 won the second season of the prestigious Intel Grand Slam.

In addition to the team achievements, NAF has received four MVP medals over the past three years, which are awarded to the most valuable players of the tournament. Besides, the 24-year-old esports athlete was twice among the twenty strongest players of the professional CS:GO scene according to HLTV.org – 6th place in 2018 and 7th place in 2019.

IEM Winter 2021 will be the next championship for Liquid. The event with a total prize pool of $250,000 will be held in Sweden from December 2 to 12.
