Astralis sign k0nfig, blameF and new coach to replace dupreeh, Magisk and zonic

Astralis have announced a massive lineup change on their official website. The reshuffle resulted in Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, Benjamin "blameF" Bremer, and coach Alexander "ave" Holdt joining the team. The rookies will replace Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Emil "Magisk" Reif and Danny "zonic" Sørensen, who will leave the club once their contracts are expired in early 2022.

Complexity, who Wienecke and Bremer represented since autumn 2019, was a previous team of the players. In turn, before signing an agreement with Astralis, Holdt coached the main and youth squads of North.

dupreeh and zonic have played for Astralis for the past five years, winning many big tournaments, including four Major events. Magisk joined the Danish giants in 2018 and became the champion of three Majors.

This summer, our portal CSGO.com was the first to report the possible transfers of k0nfig and blameF to Astralis. According to the information from sources familiar with the situation, back then even the management of the organization intended to make changes to the lineup and invite the duo from Complexity.

The renewed Astralis's roster, which currently consists of six people, will debut at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021. The tournament will be held on November 23-28 in Copenhagen at the Royal Arena, which accommodates 12,000 people.
