Team Spirit CEO announces CS:GO project reboot

The CEO of Team Spirit Nikita Chukalin has made an announcement to the fans, in which he stated that the organization is intended to reboot its CS:GO project. The club published the press release on Twitter.

Our CS:GO project that lasted for 2,5 years will come to an end after Dreamhack Open November. It is safe to say that its potential wasn't fully achieved. We have an understanding of the reasons behind it, but I am not prepared to share them
just yet.

Nevertheless, I would like to express my utmost respect for the success that this group of players and coaches has achieved. Everyone worked their absolute hardest to succeed in an extremely competitive environment, and I am thankful for their dedication. Hard work has always been a pillar in the philosophy of Team Spirit, and this roster has embraced it fully. I ask the fans and the CS: GO community to share my respect for the players and coaches that gave us so many happy memories. They need it right now.

Right now we are entering a rebuilding phase, and I will make sure we put all our experience into forming and managing the new roster. I am confident that our approach will help Team Spirit achieve the highest objectives.

Recently, Team Spirit have finished their Major Stockholm 2021 run. At the Challengers Stage, the CIS team lost to FaZe, Virtus.pro and Astralis, which did not allow them to continue fighting in the Legends Stage.

DreamHack Open November 2021, mentioned by Chukalin in the announcement, will take place online on November 10-14.
