G2 CEO jokingly invited s1mple to his team

G2 CEO Carlos "ocelote" Rodriguez expressed a desire to get the current NAVI AWPer Alexandr "s1mple" Kostyliev into his team no matter what the price tag would be. Thus, he jokingly reacted to a Twitter post by analyst Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, who called the possible move of a star Ukrainian to G2 an interesting but unlikely transfer.

Initially, the CEO of G2 tagged s1mple in the comments to Winneche's post, after which the NAVI player asked Rodriguez what salary he could expect. The head of the Spanish organization offered a blank check, where Kostyliev could write down any amount he wishes.

It is noteworthy that the current G2 roster was finalized at the end of last year by ex-FaZe player Nikola "NiKo" Kovač. At that time, the transfer was estimated as the biggest in the history of CS:GO.

It should be reminded that earlier today, Pimp also shared his predictions about what will happen on the professional CS:GO scene for the rest of 2021. In his opinion, s1mple will be rewarded at least two more tournament MVP medals, but NAVI will not be able to become the champions of PGL Major Stockholm 2021, which will kick off in a month.
