LEGIJA will temporarily take up a coaching position in BIG

German coach Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninic will help BIG prepare for the upcoming tournaments, Dexerto reported.

According to the source, Dustin "DuDe" Großmann, who has been the coach of the team since the beginning of this year, will temporarily leave the squad for personal reasons and remain inactive until October. This could lead to him missing PGL Major Stockholm 2021, which kicks off on October 23.

It is noteworthy that the CGO of the organization, Christian Lenz, confirmed the coach replacement in BIG. At the same time, he noted that there will be no official announcement since DuDe's circumstances are confidential.

LEGIJA is one of BIG's founders in 2017. Since then, he has represented the club as a player, coach and manager.

In early 2020, Ninic left BIG and began to work as a coach for Envy. Subsequently, he switched to the player role, but in March of this year, the North American organization disbanded the roster, after which all esports players became free agents.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021 will be the first tournament for BIG after the LEGIJA's return. From September 20 to 22, the German team will compete in Group B along with G2, MIBR and NIP.
