Heroic: "Accusations should not be considered neither evidence nor truth"

Heroic urged the CS:GO community to ignore the allegations of former coach Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen, who previously accused the players of being involved in abusing the coaching bug. According to the club, it is necessary to wait till the investigation by the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) is over to make any conclusions.

Also, Heroic noted that they would not share the available information with anyone but ESIC.

Our players and the organization fully appreciated that you want to hear our side of the story regarding Nicolai "Hunden" Petersen's allegations about the "coach bug scandal".

We are eager to communicate openly regarding this, but we will do so through the formal process set up to handle situations like this in CSGO, in other words the process organized by ESIC. There are very good reasons why serious allegations such as these are handled by looking thoroughly into evidence and hearing players and others involved, not by throwing around allegations and information snippets in the media.

From an organizational perspective, it's also important to make sure we understand every detail of what occurred last year, as a new management was put in place after the ownership change earlier this year.

Lastly, please keep in mind that our team is in the middle of ESL Pro League Season 14 and should not need to answer to the public before conclusions are reached by ESIC. In alI fairness, accusations should not be considered neither evidence nor truth. Especially not accusations made by someone who now claims he consistently lied about his actions over the past year.

We want to make it absolutely clear that we as an organization do not support cheaters. We will take every step necessary to maintain integrity and fair play, and we're strong supporters of the work done by ESIC.

Let us recall that the public disagreement between Heroic and HUNDEN began after the organization accused the specialist of sharing confidential information with third parties, which led to a two-year ban of the coach.

Subsequently, Petersen stated that the players knew about using the spectator mode bug in early 2020. Among the materials published by him are conversation with Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen and evidence of Rene "TeSeS" Madsen's direct involvement in the bug abuse.
