lurppis: the transfer fee for device to NIP could be $700 thousand

The purchase of the former Astralis player Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who was officially announced on April 23, cost Ninjas in Pajamas $700 thousand. This was the conclusion reached by the top manager of Immortals Gaming Club Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen after studying Astralis Group's financial report for the first half of 2021.

According to Kovanen, Astralis Group classifies the revenue from esports athletes' transfers as "other operating income", and the transfer of device was the only one from January 1 to July 1 of this year. This column of the report indicates 4.5 million Danish kroner, which is approximately $700 thousand.

Kovanen also noted that Astralis Group's income from in-game items sales amounted to about $1 million for the reporting period. If multigaming did not get income in this category from League of Legends and FIFA, then the entire amount was made up of the sales of capsules with team stickers in CS:GO.

It should be reminded that on August 31 Astralis Group published a financial report for the first half of 2021, according to which the Danish esports organization suffered $2 million in losses. At the same time, the total amount of revenues for the first half of the year was $6.2 million, which corresponds to an increase of 92% compared to the same period in 2020.
