honda will not play for FURIA at ESL Pro League Season 14

Lucas "honda" Cano, a player from FURIA, refused to travel to Europe to play at ESL Pro League Season 14, which was supposed to be his last tournament in the main roster. On his Twitter account, the 21-year-old Brazilian wrote that he decided to stay at home because his mother was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Since FURIA is not able to use any additional transfers for the upcoming event, the team’s coach Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira will join the squad.

It should be reminded that honda was transferred to the youth roster of the Brazilian club on August 23. He is temporarily replaced by a 17-year-old FURIA Academy player Andre "drop" Abreu, who won’t be able to debut at ESL Pro League Season 14 because the late transfer was not approved by the tournament operator.

FURIA will start off at EPL S14 in group D, where matches will take place from 1 to 5 September. Entropiq, Gambit, NIP, and TeamOne will be the opponents of the team led by guerri.
