Movistar Riders qualified for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021

Movistar Riders are the first confirmed member of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021. Lucas "steel" Lopez's team earned a slot in the qualifying championship for the BLAST Fall Final by winning the RTP Arena Cup 2021 regional qualifying event, which featured teams from the Iberian Peninsula.

In addition to Movistar Riders, Portuguese squads SAW, N2E, GTZ Bulls, FTW, eXploit and OFFSET as well as the Spaniards from Iberian Family made appearances at RTP Arena Cup 2021. Coming into the playoffs from second place in the group, the future champions have beaten SAW in the semifinals and OFFSET in the grand final.

The RTP Arena Cup 2021 was the first of eight scheduled qualifiers for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021. Similar competitions will take place in August and September for Scandinavia, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, China, South America and North America.

BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2021 will be held October 12-17 in LAN format. Sixteen teams will compete for two slots in the fall season finale and a prize pool of $162,500.
