IEM Summer 2021: viewer's guide

The IEM Summer 2021 tournament will take place online from June 3 to 13. Sixteen participants will compete for a share of the $250,000 prize pool.

Teams are divided into two groups in the group stage and will play their matches in the Double Elimination format. The starting matches will be BO1, followed by BO3. The winner of each group will advance directly to the semifinals, with the second and third place winners advancing to the quarterfinals. Playoffs will be held in a Single Elimination format with BO3 matches with a grand final in a BO5 format.
