Entropiq signed EPG Family lineup
Young eSports club Entropiq has signed ex-Winstike CS:GO lineup which has been performing under EPG Family name tag recently. The team's coach Dmitry Bogdanov has declared in the past that the team was looking forward to received offers from international organizations rather than the CIS teams.
"In the last few days, we had very intense talks about assembling a new international CS:GO team. I believe that this roster, comprised of CIS players, will excel in representing us at major global events. Last year, we won several domestic championships, and regular participation in international tournaments has helped Entropiq gain recognition abroad. We are convinced that partnering with such a successful team is another step in the right direction," said Ondřej Drebota, Entropiq's Managing Director.
The Winstrike squad announced unilateral termination of contracts with the organization on March 31. The players accused the Russian club of systematic violations of the terms of agreements with the team members. After their departure, ex-Winstrike took second place at Snow Sweet Snow #3, successfully qualified for the prestigious ESL Pro League Season 14 tournament, won the regional Dell Gaming League Russia Season 2 competition, and finish second at the recent Spring Sweet Spring event.
