arT on Ancient: "Feels bad playtesting it"
FURIA captain Andrei "arT" Piovezan criticized on Twitter the new competertive Ancient map, which was added to the tournament map pool a few days earlier. The Brazilian player believes that the whole map requires a lot of improvements including a full rework of one of its sections.
For instance this entire section should be changed. This claustrophobic place is just bad for professional and PUGs, just give us unnatural/unfair aim duels, that you can't really avoid or nade off, just annoying to be there. pic.twitter.com/D4FogCpkqD

At the same time, the FURIA leader noted the problem of balancing timings to fight for the center of the map. He stressed that the offensive team has to cover a lot of positions because most of the points are taken by the defensive players.
Just to take mid you require: smk 1, flash to blind 2, be aware of 3/4, take it fast enough or commit 2 Ts to take B so you don't die for 5. Also if you don't deal with player 2, he can hear everything A/mid and it's a pain to kill him.

Also, how to deal with it all on pugs? '-' pic.twitter.com/9GuX6xFOim
The pro community was ambivalent about the decision to update the competitive map pool because of the choice of locations to rearrange.
