MICHU replaced tarik in Evil Geniuses

Evil Geniuses of America has officially introduced Michal "MICHU" Mueller as part of their team. The 24-year-old experienced Pole replaced Tarik "tarik" Celik.

“Michał is a talented new addition to our roster and a player who is hungry to compete with the best. We look forward to seeing him integrate with the team and for our CS:GO team’s continued growth and success.”

“Tarik has been a tremendous part of EG’s ambitious goals in Counter-Strike, with what started by lifting a trophy at ESL One NY in EG’s first event back in CS in 2019, Tarik has continually driven EG forward. We are happy to support him as he looks ahead to the next step of his career.”

Greg Kim, Director of Esports.

Earlier, MICHU's contract with an unnamed club was announced by his agent, Krzysztof Kubicki. According to him, the former Envy player negotiated with several interested parties at once and chose the one with the best terms.

tarik has represented Evil Geniuses since September 2019. The team's biggest achievements during this period have been wins at ESL One New York 2019, StarSeries i-League Season 8, BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Americas Finals, cs_summit 6 and ESL One Cologne 2020 for North America.

The press release of the organization also notes that tarik stays with the team for now and will focus on streaming and content creation both on his own and with EG while exploring the next steps in his career.

The next tournament featuring "evil geniuses" will be Funspark ULTI 2020, to be held April 19-27. MICHU will debut in a match against Heroic.
