apEX: "One of the toughest moment in my whole career"
Vitality captain Dan "apEX" Madesclaire has expressed regret over the departure of Cédric "RpK" Guipouy, who will play his last matches for the French team at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021. He wrote on Twitter that breaking up with his teammate was one of the hardest moments of his career.
One of the toughest moment in my whole career, @RpKTANKK is way more than a simple team mate, we spend 2 years and a half together in this team with so many great moments. One of my best friend and such a nice team mate, i'll miss you Cedou ❤️♥️❤️ https://t.co/xh5c1vpBKz

On April 12, Vitality announced its decision to bench RpK after the team's performance at the next BLAST Premier tournament, which will take place April 13-18. The 31-year-old Frenchman will be replaced by the inexperienced Jason "Kyojin" Nguyen Wang.
RpK and apEX have played together for Vitality since the formation of the squad in October 2018. During that period, they have won several tournaments, including the prestigious ECS Season 7 Finals, EPICENTER 2019, IEM Beijing 2020, and BLAST Premier Fall Final 2020.
