OG are close to sign MICHU

Former Envy player Michal "MICHU" Müller could continue his career in OG, which is looking to replace the benched Issa "ISSAA" Murad. HLTV.org reported this, citing a report from Polish publication Weszło Esport.

According to the report, the 24-year-old Pole had been on the OG shortlist since late 2020 when the organization's management started to consider replacing Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt but still decided to acquire Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen in the first place, who played in all recent tournaments after the Nathan was benched, except the match against his former Heroic lineup, because he was the part of the team at that moment. Negotiations with MICHU are currently in the final stages.

Müller has been granted free agent status a month ago after the North American organization decided to temporarily withdraw from CS:GO scene. He has spent exactly one year under the Envy umbrella, the biggest achievements during which were fifth place at ESL One: Road to Rio for North America and 7th-8th place in the second season of the Flashpoint League.

Vladyslava "Vladyslava_Z" Zakhlebina, OG CS:GO team manager, has stated that she already knows who's gonna fill the lineup during her personal broadcast on Twitch yesterday and after the stream has tweeted "Good Day!" in Polish which could be also interpreted as a certain sign of signing a Polish talent.

The next upcoming tournament for OG will be the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2021, April 13-18.
