NAVI field B1T for the first time on Overpass
NAVI have started the match against Cloud9 in ESL Pro League Season 13 with Valery "B1T" Vakhovsky in the starting lineup on Overpass. Egor "flamie" Vasiliev's place was taken on the first map was taken by young talent, however, the experienced rifler helped the team on the remaining maps to secure the first points in their group.
The match has ended in the victory for Ukrainian multigaming, who required all 3 maps to take the series in their favor. Team's star Aleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev has taken the key role to determine the winner of the series with K/D ratio of +45 and 106 ADR by the end of the series.
NAVI did not make any official announcement before the match regarding the changes in the team's lineup. This decision looks even odder with the recent decision of some teams to give up on the sixth player due to Valve's decision not to make any changes to RMR point distribution system.
NAVI coach Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy was satisfied with Valeriy "B1T" Vakhovskiy's performance on Overpass. "He has no experience, and the way he's playing inspires the other players," the 34-year-old said after the match. "We are far away from what we can be on Overpass, and I think he can do much more on this map."
