kuben steps in as MAD Lions coach

Spanish multigaming MAD Lions introduced Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński as coach of new CS:GO lineup. Former Virtus.pro and Envy specialist replaced Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu, who left the organization early last month.

The Polish specialist will have to form a de facto new team for MAD Lions, since the Dane Thomas "TMB" Bundsback is the only player who kept his place in the active roster after the reshuffle started at the beginning of the year. He will be assisted by Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent, brought in as assistant head coach, and former mousesports mentor Allan "Rejin" Petersen, who has been the senior manager of the CS:GO division since early February.

Gurczyński's last team was Envy, which he left during the last winter break due to the organization's decision to temporarily withdraw from the competitive shooter scene from Valve. He previously coached Virtus.pro's distinguished Polish lineup, which won numerous prestigious championships, including the StarLadder i-League Invitational #1, ELEAGUE S1 and DreamHack Masters Las Vegas 2017, as well as finishing second at the ELEAGUE Atlanta 2017 majors.
