forZe CEO: "I hope that we will succeed."

Sergey "MegioN" Ignatko, forZe CEO, commented on the recent reshuffle in team's CS:GO lineup in an interview to the club's YouTube channel. He spoke about the reasons why Россия, Russia, RU Dmitry "facecrack" Alekseev and Россия, Russia, RU Bogdan "xsepower" Chernikov were excluded from the team, and the barely-known Alexander "zorte" Zagodyrenko and Alexander "KENSI" Gurkin were signed in their place.

According to Ignatko, the decision to end cooperation with facecrack was based on his individual results, with xsepower - because of his personal qualities, despite the high level of skill.

facecrack lost his level of play. Apparently he lost his motivation, lost his desire. And in general it was just time to do something, and we, of course, changed - probably it would be vulgar to say it - the weakest link. He wasn't giving enough performance to stay in the lineup.

As for xsepower, I still consider him one of the best snipers not only in the CIS, but also in Europe. But he's not an easy person to be. We took him out of the lineup only because... I can not say that we would have lost some more players, but the atmosphere inside already became heated. It`s like when people have lived together for a long time and then something happens, they bore each other and they go away. That's something similar happened in our squad, so we had to remove Bogdan.

Newcomers forZe in the form of zorte and KENSI were officially introduced on February 10. The head of the Russian organization noted the ambitiousness of the players, who aim to win the majors.

zorte is an ex-ETHEREAL player, the team who disbanded up and the player was left without a contract. Nothing stopped us from testing him. The guy is cool, outgoing, with burning eyes. When I asked him "What do you want to get, 20 thousand euros a month or become a major champion?" he replied: "What 20 thousand, I want to be a champion." It was important enough for us because the man has at least good ambition. I liked his level of play, but there's still work to be done. He still grows and grows, but he fits us. Next, we had the question of finding a replacement. We asked him and he suggested we look at KENSI. Young, burning eyes, he answered me the same thing: "I want to be a champion, against all odds".

Ignatko is sure that the renewed team will reach a high level in the next six months, and the main goal of the team is a successful qualification for the majors through RMR tournaments.

We're actively training now. There is a lot of work ahead and I hope we can do it. I do not even hope, I am sure that we will succeed, but it will take some time. <...> After all, KENSI and zorte don't have much experience, they still need to smell the powder. I think that in six months or even less the team will already play at a completely different level. Our main goal and task now is to play a series of RMR tournaments and to get to the majors.

At the moment forZe participates in the European Premier Division of the ESEA League, where after four games played in Group A it is in sixth place.
