EXTREMUM introduced new line-up

EXTREMUM officially announced the signing of Aaron "AZR" Ward, Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas, Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai, Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad, and Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand, thus confirming earlier rumors. As expected, Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunovic took over as head coach, while former c0ntact captain Nestor "LETN1" Tanic was brought in as an analyst.

The foursome, represented by AZR, Liazz, Gratisfaction, and jkaem, played together from September 2018 to October 2020. Their last team was 100 Thieves, who made the decision to leave the CS:GO scene due to the crisis in the North American region amid the coronavirus pandemic.

BnTeT moved to EXTREMUM from Gen.G, where he spent the last year. The South Korean organization put the entire roster up for transfer a month ago, while the Indonesian announced his intentions to continue his career in Europe.

Notably, kassad was already a mentor for Liazz, AZR and Gratisfaction from January 2017 to April 2020. After his partnership with 100 Thieves ended, the Serbian took over as coach at Cloud9, but was fired after three months with the team.
