MIBR introduced new line-up

MIBR announced  completion of a new line-up. It is based on four former BOOM players and coach, joined by former Bravado and Sharks member Daniel "danoco" Morgado. At the same time, well-known Renato "nak" Nakano, who ended his player career the day before, was introduced as a strategic coach.

BOOM announced the departures of Marcelo "chelo" Céspedes, Gustavo "yel" Knittel, Bruno "shz" Martinelli and Ricardo "boltz" Prass an hour before MIBR was announced. The fifth player of the Brazilian team, Joao "felps" Vasconcellos, is expected to be part of a new project under Epitacio "TACO" de Melo's leadership.

MIBR lost its previous squad during the winter break of the professional scene when it refused to leave the trio of stand-ins and coach, which in turn led to the decision of two other players to leave the team to reunite with their former teammates.

Gustavo "yel" Knittel's squad will make its MIBR debut at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2021, which takes place Feb. 4-14. Also in a month the team will take part in IEM Katowice 2021, where they got the invitations based on the South American Road to Katowice ranking.
