Media: Jamppi left ENCE and intends to make a transition to Valorant

Finnish player Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen will not be in the ENCE squad for the next competitive season. This is reported by the publication of Ilta-Sanomat, citing its own sources.

According to published information, the new ENCE team will include current players Alexi "allu" Jalli and Junas "doto" Fross, Tuomas "SADDYX" Louhimaa, who left SJ in early January, as well as two unnamed Danes. According to insider Jarek "DeKay" Lewis, the Finnish organization was previously interested in signing Marko "Snappi" Pfeiffer and Thomas "TMB" Bundsback.

Jamppi is expected to continue his career at Valorant. In a recent stream on his personal Twitch channel, he revealed that he would rather move to a younger discipline than start looking for a new team in CS:GO if he remains without a contract. Notably, the 19-year-old Finn has a VAC ban, which he is unsuccessfully trying to challenge in court.

Olkkonen has represented ENCE since April 2020. The Finnish team's greatest achievements during that period were 7th-8th place at the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 European Finals and ESL Pro League Season 12.
