CSPPA announced the winter break dates
The upcoming winter break on the professional stage will last from December 21 to January 17 inclusive. This was announced on Twitter by the Association of Professional Players in Counter-Strike (CSPPA).
Tournament breaks allow players to have time off and to practice and prepare for the upcoming season.

The last major tournament in 2020 will be the IEM Global Challenge 2020, scheduled for December 15-20. The day after the pause will start BLAST Premier Global Final 2020, matches of which will be held from 18 to 24 January.
Recall that last year the season began a few days after Orthodox Christmas, which caused discontent among some players. They stated that there was no time to prepare for the championships, after which CSPPA in cooperation with tournament operators revised the calendar of future breaks.
