Chet has quit CS:GO

100 Thieves Coach Chet Singh has announced his resignation from CS:GO. The American said he would soon share details of his career progression, with 100 Thieves wishing him good luck in Valorant, actually confirming his move to the Riot shooter. Earlier this was reported by insider Jarek "DeKay" Lewis.

The 24-year-old Singh has worked for CS:GO for five years and is one of the few coaches on the Level 1 shooting range who has no experience as a player. He started his career at Counter Logic Gaming and OpTic before moving to NRG where he won the IEM Shanghai 2018 and cs_summit 3 and was fourth at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019.

In the autumn of 2019 the line-up was bought Evil Geniuses. With the new organization Chet won ESL One New York 2019, which brought the team to first place in the ranking HLTV.org. In early 2020, it became known about the conflict with the captain of the staff Peter "stanislaw" Yarguz, who forced the coach to leave.

Singh stepped in for 100 Thieves in late May 2020, replacing Alexandar "kassad" Trifunovich. Together with him, the squad reached the final of ESL Pro League Season 12 for North America, which was the best result this year.
