Renegades are first at RMR tournament POL Fall 2020

The winner of  , which acted as the final RMR tournament for Oceania, was the line-up of Renegades. In the Grand Final of the Regional Championship, Chris "dexter" Nong's team defeated ORDER with a score of 2:1 - 16:10 on Vertigo, 14:16 on Dust2 and 16:11 on Nuke.

Renegades passed the Double Elimination bracket without any losses, beating Rooster, Downfall and Chiefs on their way to the Grand Final. It is noteworthy that all matches ended with a score of 2:0 on cards.

The final bracket of playoffs:

Perfect World Oceania League Fall 2020 Ranking Tournament was held from September 2 to 6. The eight strongest representatives of the region competed for $50,000 and 9063 RMR points.

Prize fund distribution:

1.  Renegades – $12,500 + 2500 RMR-points
2.  ORDER – $10,000 + 2344 RMR-points
3.  Chiefs – $7,500 + 2188 RMR-points
4.  Downfall – $6,000 + 2031 RMR-points
5-6.  Mako – $4,500
5-6.  Rooster – $4,500
7-8.  Paradox – $2,500
7-8.  Ground Zero – $2,500

Renegades stands first in the final RMR ranking for Oceania, which ensures participation in the next major, scheduled for November in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. The Australian team received the status of a contender and will start the prestigious competition with the first stage - New Challengers Stage.
