Within the North American part of ESL Pro League Season 12 Evil Geniuses beat 100 Thieves. The match ended with a score of 2:0 - 16:5 on Mirage and 16:9 on Nuke.

For both teams this game has been their debut at the tournament and drew a line under the first round. At the moment the tournament table in the region is headed by Evil Geniuses, Gen.G, FURIA and Liquid.

The second round starts on September 5 with a match between Evil Geniuses and Cloud9. The group stage will end on September 22, after which the four best teams will continue their fight in the playoffs.
