FURIA lost to Chaos in the first match at ESL One Cologne 2020; 100 Thieves over Gen.G

As a result of the starting matches of ESL One Cologne 2020 for North America the leaders of Group A have been determined. Chaos unexpectedly beat FURIA 16:11 on Nuke and 22:19 on Inferno, while 100 Thieves defeated Gen.G 2-1 to 16:3 on Vertigo, 11:16 on Nuke and 16:13 on Inferno.

Chaos and 100 Thieves will play for a playoffs spot, while FURIA and Gen.G will face in an elimination. The championship for North America will continue on August 19 with Group B: Evil Geniuses - Triumph and Cloud9 - Liquid.
