Zeus Discussed with Kharkiv Mayor Several Esports Activities

Former professional player in Counter-Strike & CS:GO Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko met with Kharkiv mayor Gennady Kernes. Together with representatives of the Department of innovation development of the city, they discussed the possibility of implementing a number of esports projects.

Among the initiatives offered to the mayor of Kharkiv there are: opening of the professional academy for the beginners; creation of the esports organization with different disciplines; hosting esports championshipof the world level. Kernes supported these ideas and asked the player to prepare for the next meeting a detailed plan of the project implementation.

"I support all your initiatives, hobbies, achievements and I am proud that you are Kharkiv citizens, that we have guys in Kharkiv, who glorify not only themselves, but also our city. I am ready to participate and offer participation to Oleksandr Iaroslavskyi (Ukrainian businessman - Ed.), but we need to take this issue seriously, "- said the mayor.

The material on the official website of Kharkiv informs that the city council has been developing and popularizing eSports since 2016. In particular, with the assistance of the department of innovative development and image projects, the esports academy works in the city, where children study for free at the expense of the city budget from the ex-trainer of Natus Vincere Mikhail "kane" Blagin.
