Source Code of Team Fortress & CS:GO leaked

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Team Fortress 2 source code has been leaked into the web. The data archive is now available for public download on several torrent trackers.

According to the author of artificial intelligence, which helps to reveal the cheaters in Patrol, 2Eggs, the leak occurred from the environment of a well-known insider Tyler McVicker, who was one of the first to talk about  the transition CS:GO to Source 2 engine. Together with the source code, his correspondence with Valve's employees got into the network.

At the moment the publisher has not made an official statement. According to 2Eggs, now the developers will have to move CS:GO to Source 2 in the near future, even if they planned to do it later, because the leak of the source code will significantly complicate the fight against cheaters.
