niko fills Heroic after es3tag moves to Astralis

FunPlus Phoenix is considering Nikolai "niko" Christensen as a replacement for Patrick "es3tag" Hansen, who joined Astralis. This was reported by the Danish portal Dust2.dk, citing several independent sources.

At the moment niko is bound by a contract with the eSports organization Immortals Gaming Club, which acquired the OpTic brand in June last year and transferred the entire CS:GO line-up to inactive status, as it is already represented in the discipline with MiBR. During this period, the 21-year-old Danish has played only four official matches as Tricked stand in.

On the eve of the media it became known that Astralis intends to expand its lineup to six people and signed a contract with current FunPlus Phoenix player Patrick "es3tag" Hansen. Shortly afterwards, Heroic's CEO announced that he was preparing a lawsuit against Astralis because he believed the organisation had acted improperly and had influenced the transfer deal between Heroic and FunPlus Phoenix.
