Voltage steps in for smooya in Chaos at Flashpoint s1

Triumph sSniper Logan "Voltage" Long will step in for Chaos during the absence of Owen "smooya" Butterfield, who returned to the UK to complete the American visa. The organization has announced this on its official website.

Due to the ongoing situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, Smooya has been moved to the bench while he waits to complete his visa interview and return to the United States. In the meantime, Smooya will be home in the United Kingdom creating content and spending time with his family.

Logan “Voltage” Long will be playing in his place (courtesy of Triumph) until Smooya is able to return. We extend our gratitude to both Voltage and Triumph for agreeing to work with us on such short notice, and we are confident that he is going to impress in our Flashpoint match against Gen. G at 4:00PM EDT on 3/21/2020.

A few hours earlier smooya tweeted that it would miss the upcoming matches of his team at Flashpoint 1. The British player can not get an already approved visa to the U.S., as the embassy, where he needs to pass the final interview, is closed for quarantine.

The next Chaos match is scheduled for March 21. The team will meet with Gen.G in the first phase of the Flashpoint 1 group stage of the league.
