Copenhagen Flames to replace BIG at FLASHPOINT S1

Berlin International Gaming have withdrawn from FLASHPOINT Season 1 and will be replaced by Copenhagen Flames, according to multiple sources close to the teams.

The Heroic lineup has reportedly been purchased by the FunPlus Phoenix organization and will play in FLASHPOINT, meaning they will no longer be able to play in ESL Pro League due to the scheduling conflicts between the two leagues. With an open spot remaining, BIG have vacated the FLASHPOINT slot they earned through open qualification. Copenhagen Flames finished 5-6th place in the open qualifier along with DETONA Gaming and will now play in the league starting later this week.

Paricipants for FLASHPOINT S1:

 Cloud9
 MiBR
 MAD Lions
 Dignitas
 Gen.G
 c0ntact
 Envy

Season 1 of FLASHPOINT will run between March 13 and April 19 in Los Angeles, California. The Finals will take place in studio, rather than in Stockholm, Sweden, as a result of the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
