DeKay: ESL partnered with teams for 3 years
The agreements between ESL and the partnered teams of the tournament operator signed for three years and provide for an extension of up to six years if certain KPIs are met. This was reported by DBLTAP portal journalist Jarek "DeKay" Lewis with reference to several sources.
According to the insider, teams who signed partnership agreement will be co-owners of a series ESL Pro League tournament series, while ESL will act only as the organizer. In this regard, the World Cyber Sports Association (WESA), which since its inception has defended the interests of the championship participants, will complete its work in this regard.
On the eve, ESL presented a list of participants for the next Pro League season, thirteen of whom have long-term agreements with the company. The partner teams were Astralis, Complexity, ENCE, Evil Geniuses, FaZe, fnatic, G2, mousesports, Natus Vincere, NiP, Liquid, Vitality and 100 Thieves.
