mousesports are the champions of ICE Challenge 2020
ICE Challenge 2020 took place February 1-6 as part of the ICE London gaming exhibition in the UK capital. The tournament kicked off with a group stage in the format of Double Elimination (GSL) BO3, the six finalists of which advanced in the Single Elimination BO3 + BO5 bracket to fight for the lion's share of the prize fund of $250,000.
mousesports started their way to the group A trophy, which resulted in the playoffs from the first place. In addition to the European grand Na`Vi, Virtus.pro, OG, MAD Lions & GODSENT made it to the next stage.
In the semifinals of the stage playoffs mousesports took over MAD Lions, and in the decisive BO5 confrontation have beaten Natus Vincere with a score of 3-1 on maps. Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team credits to their account the championship title lf ICE Challenge 2020 and earns the money reward of $125,000 for first place.
The title of the strongest player of the ICE Challenge 2020 according to HLTV.org had been awarded to Denis "electronic" Sharipov.
