The IEM Katowice 2019 has been the most viewed tournament of the year, with 1.2 million people (not including the Chinese audience) watching at its peak, and total airtime of 135 hours. The statistics was provided by the analytical service of Esports Charts.

Second place in the ranking of online viewings was taken by StarLadder Major 2019, which broadcasts of matches gathered 837.7 thousand viewers and lasted 129 hours. The rest of the top-5 tournaments were held under the auspices of ESL: ESL One Cologne 2019 (506.3 thousand), ESL One New York 2019 (423.5 thousand) and ESL Pro League S9 Finals (422.5 thousand).
