CS:GO Update Includes Bug Fixes Involving Fire

The latest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update was released by Valve. Developers revealed a problem involving fire getting mistakenly extinguished was resolved.

Patch notes for the latest CS:GO update were released Friday by Valve. A problem affecting smoke and fire in-game was fixed with the newest patch. "Smokes that visibly fade off the ground now allow fire to spread under them without getting extinguished," developers said.

The post also revealed a couple of minor problems were resolved. The C4 view model being occasionally wrapped in last year's holiday wrapping paper was fixed. "Added support for displaying correct picks for Katowice 2019 Major Championship after the Challengers Stage is finished," it said.

IEM Katowice's New Challengers stage began Wednesday. The stage will end Sunday, with the top eight teams advancing to the Top Legends stage.
