Bondik Will Replace Dimasick on Gambit Esports' Starting CS:GO Roster

Vlаdуslаv "bondik" Nеchуроrchuk has replaced Dmitry "dimasick" Matvienko on Gambit Esports' starting Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster.

Bondik played the majority of 2018 with HellRaisers before joining Gambit Esports at SuperNova CS:GO Malta.

Bondik will now have a two-month-long trial while dimasick remains on the bench.

Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy, Gambit's head coach explained the move:

"At the moment, Dima doesn't fit into our preferred system. He's experiencing discomfort and it's difficult for him to alter his way of thinking since his own style is based on individual play. We'd love for Dima to perform at his best, but he's currently unable to do it within our system. Unfortunately, we don't have an option to wait for him to undergo this transformation, whereas altering an entire system to suit his needs is suboptimal. Dima has potential that he can realize in a team that's willing to play around him."

Gambit has until Jan. 16 to practice before they play in the CIS Minor and fight for a spot at the IEM Katowice Major.
