Felps Buyout to Reportedly Cost MIBR $150,000

MIBR and INTZ eSports have reportedly settled on a $150,000 price point for the contract of João "felps" Vasconcellos, ESPN Brazil reported Tuesday.

The news indicates the deal, which would move felps to the MIBR Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup, is closer than ever to being finalized. Should it come to fruition, felps would reunite with Gabriel "Fallen" Toledo, Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, and Marcelo "coldzera" David, three of his teammates during their SK Gaming glory days.

ESPN Brazil's report comes on the heels of reporting Monday by VPEsports claiming felps would joining MIBR as its new fifth. That report built on previous work by ESPN stating MIBR had traded Jake "Stewie2k" Yip to Team Liquid in exchange for Epitaco "TACO" de Melo and coach Wilton "zews" Prado, and that Tarik "tarik" Celik would be moved to the bench.

Felps, Fallen, fer, TACO, coldzera and zews on the same roster would constitute the lineup with which SK Gaming won IEM Sydney, ESL One Cologne and the ECS S3 Finals in 2017.
