Boltz will replace CS:GO player yeL, who first joined the organization in 2016.
"Good luck on all your future endeavors! You'll always be family here," it read.
The organization's announcement also confirms an earlier report by VPEsports of the move.
Luminosity Gaming's last major roster change was back in June when it signed Henrique "HEN1" Teles and Lucas "LUC1" Teles to replace Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves and Vinícios "PKL" Coelho.
Boltz previously played with MIBR, though he was officially released from the team at the end of November.
