Imperial to Reportedly Replace Pounh and nukkye With pronax and ottoNd

The Imperial is planning to replace Eimantas "pounh" Lazickas and Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas with Markus "pronax" Wallsten and Otto "ottoNd" Sihvo, according to a report published Sunday by VPEsports.

The VPEsports report states that Imperial desires a more stable Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster anchored around an experienced in-game leader. Pronax is a natural choice for such a role, as his six years in CS:GO have seen him win a total of three Majors.

Pronax joining Imperial would leave Mikail "Maikelele" Bill alone in trying to create his own international roster following their departure from Chaos Esports Club Oct. 19.

The team also plans to try out the young ottoNd, who would be joining his first international roster after two years of national-level play.

Imperial's most recent tournament victory came at DreamHack Open Summer, where it defeated OpTic Gaming in the final June 18. Since then, the team has narrowly failed to qualify for EPICENTER and earned a ninth-11th place finish at StarSeries & i-League Season 6.
