Fnatic Announce Brollan Addition to CS:GO Roster

Fnatic announced the acquisition of Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin on Wednesday as the final piece of the organization's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.

Confirming a Monday report by VPEsports, Brollan joins the CS:GO team as part of its attempts to course correct following a disappointing showing at the FACEIT London Major. That course correction began Oct. 2, when the team benched William “Draken” Sundin in favor of Simon “twist” Eliasson. Both Brollan and twist have left Red Reserve to join Fnatic's team.

Brollan's arrival will push Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom to an inactive position on the roster through the end of October. With ScreaM's departure, the team returns to an all-Swedish lineup, a change that will be accompanied by a return to Swedish in-game communications.

The longest-standing member of the Fnatic lineup, Jesper "JW" Wecksell, expressed excitement among the team in the face of Brollan's arrival.

"I am very excited to welcome Brollan to Fnatic," he said in a news release, "not only because it means we finally have a full team again but also because I know that Ludvig is the final piece of the puzzle.

"The motivation within the team has never been higher, and now it’s time to get back to business and show people exactly what we are made of. A new era is coming — welcome, Ludvig!"
