DreamHack Rotterdam Becomes Newest DreamHack Tournament

DreamHack announced DreamHack Rotterdam as one of its newest events and another Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament in 2019.

Because of a new partnership between DreamHack and Rotterdam Ahoy, DreamHack Rotterdam is one of the newest stops for its CS:GO tournaments in 2019. It will take place from Oct. 18-20 in the middle of Rotterdam Games Week. DreamHack Open Rotterdam will feature a prize pool of $100,000.

"Over the past period, we have spoken to many parties in the market -- from publishers to gamers -- and received much positive feedback, encouragement, and cooperation," Ahoy CEO and initiator Jolanda Jansen said. "We have the confidence that together with DreamHack we are starting a new tradition, and will as Ahoy organization, give much priority to the further implementation of DreamHack Rotterdam and Rotterdam Games Week."

DreamHack Rotterdam will take place during Rotterdam Games Week, a gaming expo for fans to gather for LAN competitions and panel meetings.
