EPICENTER Announces CS:GO Tournament in Moscow

EPICENTER announced it will run a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament to be held in Moscow, Russia once again from Oct. 22-28.

After a successful EPICENTER: Moscow tournament last October, the event will return to Moscow. Ten CS:GO teams will participate in the tournament in total. Five will be directly invited to compete in the group stage, and four will be decided through regional qualifiers in Europe, CIS, America and Asia. The final competitor will be chosen through a wild card invitation.

"Viewers will enjoy an impressive battle of the world’s best teams, spectacular and unforgettable show, and signing sessions with professional players and casters," the post read. There will be a prize pool of $300,000.

The open and closed qualifiers for all regions will run from August to the beginning of October. After the competing teams are decided, the group stage starts Oct. 22-25 and will end with the EPICENTER finals from Oct. 27-28.
