Cloud9 Extends STYKO's Loan Through September
Cloud9 has extended Martin "STYKO" Styk's loan for its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster through September.
This news was first reported by DeKay, as STYKO played as a stand-in for Cloud9 on loan from mousesports at ESL One: Cologne 2018 and ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018. Earlier this week, Cloud9 announced the signing of Maikil "Golden" Selim as its in-game leader and promotion from a stand-in.

Cloud9's coach, Soham "Valens" Chowdhury stated in the announcement, "I am extremely excited to continue working with Martin. It has been clear from day one that he deserves to be competing at the highest levels, and he has an incredible mindset for a team game. All of us are looking forward to showing off a revitalized Cloud9 at the major, and we expect Martin to be a huge part of it!”
The team will evaluate its roster once the FACEIT Major: London is over.
Cloud9 will defend its Major title starting on Sept. 12.
