shroud no longer part of Cloud9

The player last played a CS:GO official in August of last year.

Mike "shroud" Grzesiek has put out a lengthy Tweet announcing that he is no longer part of the Cloud9 organization as a streamer or otherwise:

Despite stepping down from the active Cloud9 roster last year along with Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert, shroud had remained attached to the organization as a streamer — and enjoyed massive success.

Having joined the organization in 2014 alongside the rest of the former compLexity squad, shroud represented the light blue and white for for almost exactly three years. Perhaps the highlight of his tenure with the team came at the ESL Pro League Season 4 Finals, which the North Americans stole away from the Brazilians of SK on their home soil.

Though he did not elaborate on his specific future plans, the Canadian did specify that he has retired from competitive CS:GO. It is likely he will continue his streaming career.
